At first I was like, “no way, that’s not Mike’s new site!” I refreshed by browser, but still the same thing. Still in disbelief, I typed it in again, carefully to make sure I hadn’t mistyped. Sure enough, http://huckpac.com is a new domain and points to the same site as www.MikeHuckabee.com.

You may out of curiosity wonder why I’m so surprised. Well, over the last few months I’ve gotten used to “huckisms” which are words derived from Mike Huckabee’s name (i.e. “huckaboom, huckabeez, huck-a-this, huck-a-that…” but I digress).

It doesn’t surprise me that Huckabee is forming a new political action committee. What surprises me is that he would choose to call it huckpac. Kinda like something from Pacman… but then, should I be surprized? Mike’s been one to do things unconventionally. But what politician is going to want the support of huckpack You could probably ask the same thing… who needs huckpac and who wants huckpac to back them?

Well, that will remain to be seen. But if my instincts are worth anything about this new Political Action Committee, there are going to be a lot of conservatives that are going to be looking for aide on the back of huckpac!
